An office fit out to consolidate all PTTEP staff from three other locations into a new 46,000 sq.m. office and 2,000 sq.m. roof landscape at levels 19-36 of Energy Complex, Vibhavadi Rangsit Road

The Energy Complex has been certified LEED – Platinum level for Core & Shell.

Meinhardt (Thailand) Ltd provided design of the following:

Full design for MEP systems with special considerations to the base building provisions from the LEED – Platinum certified building. Fire protection system e.g. smoke control, sprinkler curtain was specially designed for the two atriums. Meinhardt also provided on site full-time MEP supervision throughout the construction period.

A structural review and strengthening design for the creation of two atriums, 14-storey and 4-storey, within the existing building + on site part-time structural supervision of the works. This required the cutting of the existing post tensioned floor slab and strengthening using steel beams. Meinhardt also provided the structural design for the stairs and mezzanine steelwork required for the fit-out.

Close cooperation with the design team ensured that the lighting design enhanced the key architectural features and the interior design whilst simultaneously maintaining the organizations image and character. Special user-friendly and energy-wise lighting was designed for various lighting scenes requirements and integrated with narrated systems for audio & visual and motorized mechanical equipment.
