We’re excited to share that Methee Chiewanichakorn, Ph.D., S.E., LEED AP, PMP , Associate Director at Meinhardt Thailand & Myanmar Thailand, has taken on new leadership roles in the structural & earthquake engineering and concrete industry for 2024 and beyond!

He holds key positions in various technical committees and subcommittees related to structural and bridge engineering and concrete standards. Currently, he serves as Vice Chairman of the Structural and Bridge Engineering Subcommittee under The Engineering Institute of Thailand Under His Majesty The King’s Patronage (EIT), Chairman of the Structural Concrete Subcommittee under Thailand Concrete Association TCA , Chairman of Structural Engineering Subcommittee under Thailand Structural Engineers Association (TSEA), and as a Steering Committee Member of Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH) Asia Region.

In 2024-2025, Dr. Methee is also a member of the Wind and Seismic Loading Subcommittee under EIT, Concrete Maintenance, Repair, and Strengthening Subcommittee, and the Structural Concrete Operating Committee under TCA.

Continuing into 2025, Dr. Methee is involved in the Prestressed Concrete Standard Subcommittee, Prestressed Concrete Standard (EIT 011009) Subcommittee, and Reinforced Concrete Standard (EIT 011008) Subcommittee under EIT.

These roles highlight Dr. Methee’s extensive leadership in shaping standards and practices in structural and earthquake engineering, emphasizing on concrete design aspects. These achievements are a source of pride for Meinhardt, and we look forward to contributing to the industry’s growth and development through collaboration.
